Gala’s was born out of a need to feed a family with three (very picky) kids and their equally picky parents. With both parents having demanding full-time jobs, cooking was quite a challenge. So Gala (grandma of the above-mentioned kids) came up with the idea of preparing in bulk all of the ingredients, needed for delicious soups, dehydrating and then vacuum-packing them into family-sized packs for a quick and easy meal option for parents coming late from work.
Gala’s Homemade Dehydrated Soups had a great success with Gala’s grandchildren 
and their parents. Gala went on to share these care packages with friends and family. Before long, Gala was chopping, grating, dehydrating and packing her fantastic home-made soups by the dozen.
The beauty of Gala’s is in the quality ingredients, healthy nutrition, and convenience of preparation. The soups were initially designed for children, with a thought for their growing bodies. So, the soups contain no preservatives, dyes, flavor enhancers, or other unhealthy additives. Yet, the soup mixes contain all of the ingredients for a pot of delicious, fragrant soup (including broth!), so there is no need to add anything to Gala’s soups to prepare a complete meal. However, these soups are highly customizable – you can add to them any ingredients you wish, to make them your own. How cool is that?
